Glamping in Herefordshire: 3 reasons to come and stay
Living in Brighton we realised that we were running on empty and completely frazzled. Sound familiar?!! We also knew that we were not alone and that for many, this is the standard state of being. Our response has been to craft Kaya at Blackhill Farm, the antidote to modern times. In doing so, there are three things that we have done well.
1: We make it easy. We share concise and cracking local recommendations. We've mapped out the best hikes from the door. There are hooks in all the right places, butter in the fridge, shampoo by the bath, it's like being a home but possibly a little more glam!
2: We are in the right place. Research shows that being surrounded by nature can reduce cortisol levels and promote improved mood. So whether you spend your entire trip in the luxury of your yurt/cabin, or gallivanting the local mountains, rivers and towns, no judgement. What matters is that you get your cortisol detox and go back to your lives feeling rejuvenated.
3: Our yurts/studio are stunning and well designed. On average it rains 175 days a year in the UK. To counter this deluge, all of our spaces have amazing and massive windows form which you can enjoy yourselves whatever the weather. It is also hard to relax outside for much of the year in our humble opinion as it's rather cold! Our answer, wonderful outdoor washing and lounging opportunities, so you can be outside stargazing from a steaming bath, wrapped up in our cosy blankets whilst chilling in a deck net or toasting marshmallows around one of our gorgeous fire pits.
